עולים חוזרים זכאים להקלות במס במשך 42 חודשים מיום חזרתם ארצה. מניין 42 החודשים מתחיל עם קבלת תעודת תושב חוזר.
חשוב לציין, כי נקודת הזיכוי לתושב חוזר ניתנת בנוסף לנקודת הזיכוי של תושב ישראל.
שכיר/ה – ככל שהוכרת כתושב/ת חוזר/ת ב-6 שנים האחרונות, ייתכן וגם לך מגיעים החזרי מס.
חישוב המס לעולה חדש הינו כדקלמן:
1. 1/4 נקודת זיכוי לכל חודש משמונה עשר החדשים הראשונים לעלייתו לישראל;
2. 1/6 נקודת זיכוי לכל חודש משנים עשר החדשים שלאחריהם;
3. 1/12 נקודת זיכוי לכל חודש משנים עשר החדשים שלאחריהם.
